Happy Mothering Sunday everybody. I hope everyone is having a lovely day.
I have been really busy since January developing lots of lovely new keepsake bears that I have somewhat neglected my blog, so here is a little update.
I have developed and designed my own little dragon to join the team. He is jointed like the keepsake bears and can be made out of lots of different cotton fabric to suit your decor.
He has padded wings and very cute little ears or horns? I don't quite know what you call them !
They can be embroidered as well, as you may know I hand embroider all of my work, if required. I think it gives a really personal touch.
The next new project I have started this year is an stuffed elephant. This one is made from a Funky Friends pattern. He works really well as a memory elephant, especially if you don't have many items to use. I have done these ones using an old baby cot bumper.
It doesn't just have to clothing that you can save, cot bumpers are really special items too and turning them into keepsake gifts is a great way to keep the memories alive.
Finally, Easter is approaching very quickly and I have been very busy making lots of Easter bunnies. They are jointed like the bears, and can also be memory bunnies too.
I am currently working on a memory bunny made from a baby sleeping bag.
Have fun planning your Easter everyone , I hope the real Easter bunny comes too!
